Which way is the bus below traveling? To the left or to the right? Can't make up your mind? Look carefully at the picture again. Still don't know? Pre-scholars all over the United States were shown this picture asked the same question. 90% of the pre-scholars gave this answer. 'The bus is traveling to the left.' When asked, 'Why do you think the bus is traveling to the left?' They answered: 'Because you can't see the door to get on the bus.' How do you feel now??? LOL. I just had to post this. I hafta admit, I never thought about where the door was!
It is depend from which country you're coming from. For US residents... definitely to the left. But for me from Asia..... the bus is moving to right if we don't see the door from that point of view. Btw... great tricky question and just wondering who draw a bus like that
lol! it is a weird lookin bus . I didn't know that the doors are on the opposite side of the US' in asia: thanks for sharing that with us
Yeah, I got it wrong, but actually right, as I was just in the wrong country I want to ride in a bus that looks like that
lol...that's awesome. I didn't figure it out, but you gave the answer way to quick. If I had thought about it I might have been able to get it. Sadly I just scrolled down and read what else you had to say Nice riddle though
The bus is not traveling in either direction! Its a still picture! Whoever answered left or right is wrong. If you want to assume a still picture could travel you would first have to determine whether the bus was in a country where people drove on the left or right.
That is stupid. Preschoolers do not know their right from their left! They might notice the absense of a door, but they are not going to make the connection that the door is on the other side. And then to further come up with the idea that which side the door is on would indicate which way the bus is travelling... There is no way that 90% of preschoolers were able to figure that out.
