What did you do to get PR1? (time? links? tricks? articles?)

    My site is still a PR0 :(

I've owned the domain for 10 years, just started putting content on it this year.

I rank #4 in google for "carbon fiber hoods" so that's a good thing, and I'm on the front page for a couple of other keywords, but my PR is still 0! My site is http://www.carbonfiberhoods.com

I've got a decent amount of back links, I've posted on forums, blogs, all back linking to my site.

I post on do follow sites, I've done exchanges..

Analysed my links in Market Samuari against the competition, I'm not seeing the difference I guess.

Who out there has some good ideas or person experiences that they would like to share? I'm curious how did you achieve a higher pr?

I see these really horrible computer generated 10 page blog sites that somehow have high PR ranks, like PR3 4 5, and I'm totally stunned that they can somehow achieve that on a blog, that no one actually subscribes to.

Finally got my PR rank updated!

Almost took a year, but I'm finally a PR3, I jumped from PR0 to PR3. Just keep working on building links and content, you'll get it.

Nice, sometimes it takes a while for things to spider through your website and the rest of the web to give you an accurate PR.
