What did you do ? Who did you kiss ? Where were you ?
I'll start, Was in Vegas, Partied at the Mirage hotel and Studio 54 at the MGM, got wasted on a half a bottle of "kattle one" vodka.
Accidentally kissed my best friend.

Suuure, I bet that was an accident :)

It was raining here, so we stayed inside, had some drinks, and celebrated quietly.

Ha Ha good topic! I hope we will read some juicy stories :D

You went to Studio 54 in Vegas? Man - you are so lucky!!!

I ended up going to a few house parties, the last one being in London. An old boyfriend kissed me...erm Big mistake... I don't like New Years Eve too much it's so hyped up.

My friend got us a table in the VIP lounge and we got so drunk that I heard that got a balloon form someone and I was so proud of my balloon that when we went to eat after the party, I made sure that there will be a sit for my balloon and that it will have something to eat... Ok I'll get one up on you guys... I got married :)

Yeah.. thats right, after 11-and-a-half (can't find the 1/2 sign on an icelandic keeboard and don't remember the proper code for it) years of living and breeding together, with two angel-boys as a modest result, we "decided" to get married.

When I say "decided" what I mean is that there is an old tradition in Denmark (at least, but not in Iceland aparently) for allowing the girl to propose on february 24. every now and then - every 4th. year (what is the proper word in english for this day?), and if you declne - so the saying goes - you have to give her 12 pairs of gloves.

Now I don't pretend to know why that is, but I do know that after 11 years and two kids you don't take a question like that easy - unless you're filing for divorce that is - so there we were, and she had the date set for 01.01.05.

Now everybody says "but that's not New years Eve" - and you would be right, but alas the government official, the "Sysslamaðurinn" -or something like that - did not want to do this on the 1st. as it is a holiday. So we did it on new years eve's day around noon, and participated in my inlaw's party in the evening and threw a blast of a party the next day for all concerned.

Big succes as my brother in law did all the catering (being a hotel manager/chef) and got loads of drinking for cheap money (Icelandic-cheap... not really cheap, but thats another story ;) ). Everybody got soaked.. I saw my farther dance for the first time ever... And yes there was a happy ending hotel-room-story... but as you can guess

    THAT'S ANOTHER STORY :p

    Congrats on the marriage.

I had the flu. In bed by 8, didn't wake up until 11 the next morning - thank goodness I had been able to leave my daughter with my inlaws. Guess I REALLY needed to sleep.
