    Hi
Yesterday (could of been day before, can't remember) I was #9 on google.co.uk for
"uk computer hardware news and reviews"
(no quotation marks) in google. Now im PAGE 5.

    This is annoying. Any ideas?
(Site = www.techneek.co.uk btw (<-- not spamming, just to help this thread go along) )

I see you at number 10.

Your title says "......and review" rather than ".......and reviews" maybe that will help.

WTF I don't see myself till page 5

Also yeh... was thinking about that. Most people would search for "productname review" rather than "productname reviews" i'd of thought.

    IMHO

It is what that is "around" the KWs that is important - Matt Cutts says so anyway!

    So:

    1. A title of "TechNeek Computer Hardware News and Review"

    is not the same as

"uk computer hardware news and reviews"

and therefore you would do well in the country of techneek !! Hehehe

If you were to refine the title and the alt tags " alt="techneek - uk computer hardware news and reviews" you may find an improvement

and if you were to use a "home" button with an alt similarly then another improvement might be there.

Just as an aside the alt "Logo hardware review".... is the KW phrase really "Logo hardware review"? or is it "computer hardware review"?

    Hope this helps :)

You are right - most people would search for "toshiba laptop reviews" but people would not search for "News and Review" I wouldn't think.

No, not really. If you're looking for let's say a review of a GeForce 7800 you should (and probably would) search for GeForce 7800 Review since the site hosting a review will have a title like GeForce 7800 Review not GeForce 7800 Rewies. Also any backlinks to that review will be GeForce 7800 Review at www.sometechsite.com since there is one not many.

Results for Reviews would probably find sites with a list of reviews or something like that.

EDIT: Now after re-reading your post I think I got something wrong :D

Um that is a 6 word phrase...does it really generate much traffic? I doubt it.

I searched your full term on google.com and your site came up in the #1 and #2 positions.

Searching for "computer hardware news and reviews", you came up in the number 5 spot.
