Hello, i kinda new in web marketing, i usually a web developer until recently i'm interested in marketing a website. Somehow i believe some people in this business are using a tools that help them to speed up their work. I'm not talking about i don't like being patience but there are hundreds of tools in the internet and i don't know which one is appropiate which one is not.. i already try the conservative way (manually for everything) and i found out that it make my time run out fast. Now could someone give insight which tools consider a white hat/black hat... does using software like webCEO or InternetBusinessPromoter is usefull ? or using Xrummer will make my website ban by major search engine ? does using article spinner could bring me problem ? Thanks for your sharing
Hi I am looking for someone to do xrummer blasts for me in a specific way. I am trying to find a reliable poster as I wish to do regular blasts.
There is a fine line between white hat and grey hat, just like there is between gray and black. Kind of like saying the exact weight that would qualify a person as being overweight. Hard to pick an exact number but it's easy enough to identify with a quick glance. It's a competitive world out there so people do whatever they can to get a leg up on the competition. This includes black hat stuff, as well as unorthodox and innovative white hat stuff. Going online to get SEO information can help but I would be weary of using at your only source of knowledge. I would suggest you start by attending some local SEO meet-ups and start networking with other SEOs. Check Meetup.com to see if there are any in your area. After that start attending seminars. Regarding your question on "spun" articles, they seem to be having less and less of a positive effect with the search engines. Best of Luck
Black hat = using tricks and methods that may break or disregard rules to achieve extraordinary results. AKA: gaming the system.
Always work on manual. I don't believe in any system as they might just get us caught. So, manually do the marketing. Slow and steady is the key. No sudden increase as it may trigger the spam alert.
I was using CommentHut Lite and looking up the PRs of the blogs I got. The temporary ban of your ISP from Google message came on.
Black hat - buy links, links farms, build too many back links together. White hat - links from quality sites, build high pr links, links from authority sites
Black hat means anything the search engines don't like, but can't trap automatically. White hat means anything the search engines like.
The only tool I use is an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of things. As others have said, there is a fine line between white/grey/black hat. What I see at the moment is sites using blackhat techniques ranking well for competitive keywords - as we move into more web 3.0 this may change a little, but I'm sure people will always find a way to 'cheat' the system. I know it's boring to hear but regular, fresh, useful content will always get traffic.
