What dedicated server will be best for 500 wordpress sites ?

    Hello,
    please can some body tell me which dedicated server will be best for 500 wordpress websites. It should be cheap and good. I m planning to build around 500 wordpress sites and saperate blog install on each domain so need suggestion on which one dedicated server i should get please tell.

    Hi,

    I would suggest go with some i7 servers Or Xeon Servers which will hold your requirements as per you optimization of the server. If there is huge Database in those wordpress websites then you can do load balancing with Remote SQL Servers

    As he suggested he is going to build 500 blogs , So for starting you may only need a xeon . After getting traffic you will upgrade

    I would suggest using an i7 with good bwidth and diskspace. I'd check out hostatree they're an excellent host, great response time from customer support, and i've been using them for over 13 months now, never had an issue! I went from shared to dedicated to reseller, but they are excellent at moving your content if you find yourself out of budget, or needing less than what you though.

    As you are running wordpress site.. then most probably i will suggest you to go for a Corei7 one with at least 8GB ram ( can upgrade to more when needed). I think this will rather be powerful to handle all your needs for now.
