What CTR means? I need advice

    Hi,

I have multiple sites: Site A and Site B.
Site A has low impression but high CTR.
Site B has high impression but very low CTR.
In average of Site A and B, the CTR is normal. This is my current situation.

I want to increase my earning. Let say I remove all adsense on Site B, the average CTR will be high. Does it mean that I will get more revenue by having more CTR?

    Thank you for sharing answer.

Its basically the clicks per impressions you get.
So the higher the CTR... The more clicks per impressions your getting.

Thank Kagato for your answer, but I want to know the deeper meaning of CTR.

Back to my first post, I am asking: "Does it mean that I will get more revenue by having more CTR?" since I can control the Average CTR by using Site B.

CTR is Click Through Rate ... a CTR 2% is basically would basically mean that 2 out of every 100 people (20 per 1000) viewing the site are clicking the ads.

Higher CTR doesn't always mean more revenue. You can have higher CTR but if your earnings per click is much lower ultimately your earnings may be less than when you had low CTR (and higher earnings per click)

Higher CTR would assume that you would earn more, because you are getting more traffic to your site than your other ad.

But, it doesn't always mean more revenue. I would suggest testing them both, or if one CTR is a lot higher than the other, stick with that one.
