I have very simple campaign going with about 5 keywords and they're all getting about 12% CTR. My click costs are fairly minimal, but I feel I'm not seeing an immediate conversion rate increase on my site. When do you decide that a campaign is probably going ok and wait to see if the conversions increase, or juts dump it all together?
12% CTR is really good enough... Usually when I start off my campaigns I get higher CTR's but in due course of time, I end up with 2% to 3% CTR which I consider as good for my campaigns... Are your PPC clicks converting well on the sales.. if not you may want to revisit your landing page and work on improving the conversion rates. Ideally I wait for about 100-150 clicks on my campaigns before dumping the product alltogether
Thanks. That's good to know. When do you decide a landing page is a good way to go, or just direct them right to the website from the advertisement? I'm not selling traditional affiliate products per say...if you look at my middle signature link, this is where I'm trying to drive traffic.
that is very high keep up the good work, as long as you are getting a good ratio of clicks to sale its all good.
Your CTR is great. I generally get 1.5% - 3% and have a fair amount of sales. As far as Landing pages go, I would direct straight to your web page.
