What criteria for jobs in microsoft?

    I am a third semestor bachelors student, of computer science.
    i wanted to know,
    If Microsoft hires which type of employees, ?
    so that i can focus on some field to reach there..
    i wanted to work in microsoft

    If I were in the committee of selecting new applicants, I'd never select you.

    Why?

    Microsoft would never want an employee who doesn't know how to use a search engine (bing.com) and find out the answers.
    Asking this question in public signifies that you are an easy man and you cannot handle the pressure of top executives.

    I know that was harsh, but its just an example.

    You need to Google up (or use Bing.com xD) and check out http://careers.microsoft.com/

    It just took me 5 seconds to find it out ?

    I though Some Officials May be sitting here.. so that they can answer me better..

    Well, its not necessary to have a teacher teach you everything. If you are so smart that you can learn from books, then you shouldn't goto a teacher. Its a public forum.

    Note: Not all in this world can become Bill Gates. If everyone becomes Bill Gates, then who will clean his toilet ?

    Also, rather than arguing, start to accept your stupidity and goto the link which I pasted. Change your attitude, it will get you no where.

    microsoft is the best company in the world.every software engineer wants to get job in this company.so normally the competition level is very high here.so if you want to get job than you have to learn different programming language very well.
