The thing about the tourists being harrassed by Turkish men does not surprise me Sometimes I find it difficult to even walk the streets in Turkey because I get harrassed by the manyaks. They drive me cok deli. It is a little easier since I learnt - ''Siktir git lan'' ''bok bas'' etc Evet..I like Cem Yilmaz. I recently watched gitt opet and I am always laughing at his Doritos adverts. Very funny man. I hope to watch GORA soon. Him & Sahan are helping to improve my Turkish alot. Teehee.

Your geographical knowlegde amazes me. There are pinguins in Europe but living in zoos only. I would like to visit Barbados, Bahamas, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand and Japan.

If I my Turkish friend could see this post he would chop your head off 'cause he's from Istanbul and he never said a single bad word about his home city.
Well rich is too rich and the poor is too poor in Istanbul and thats the reason of people for changing. They become murderers, thiefs etc.. The rich always stays as rich and the gap is getting bigger every single day. What do you expect your friend to say who is a citizen of this city? Don't come to Turkey? Well i don't think many of Turk's can't do this much self criticism. I don't say all of the Turk's are bad people but if you come to Istanbul with the same expectations you had while going to another Europe city, you will be isappointed, the bootblacks will charge you $5's in Turkish money and you won't be able to tell a word, your wallet will be stolen and you won't be able to turn back... I watch this every day on Tv, been to Istanbul many times, good city but a city that will waste you in a second..
I'd love to visit Asia. I enjoy Asian food especially, far more than any Western food I've tried. Europe (especially Poland and the Italian part of Switzerland) is great, too, but as I live in the UK I've already seen a lot and want to travel further afield.
lol every country in Europe is different and i mean really different. There are places in Europe i would never go to again, compared to others that i would not mind visiting every week if i had time + money. I love the way people from other continents think of Europe as a country.
Would like to go to China or South Korea next, closest I've been to China was when I was in Hong Kong, but it's more or less like a UK city on drugs.
