It's nice how US seem to exaggerate the Israeli bombings like it is the worst thing in the world (and use it as an excuse to spend but conveniently ignore the Sri Lankan ones. The US gives $2.4 billion to Israel every year for military purposes yet are $800 billion in debt.... Maybe Sri Lanka doesn't exist?
Well, we can always blame it on the Jews, eh? Do you have a source for that supposed exaggeration, or is just a personal opinion? I don't ever recall seeing the Tamil Tigers in the news carrying signs that say "death to America" or "death to Israel." Can't recall the last time they flew a plane into one of our buildings either. Perhaps if muslim countries would like some more aid, they might consider toning down the pack mob crowds chanting "death to [insert infidel outrage of the day here]. Hamas seems to have one hell of a rap sheet. The Tamil Tigers are listed, along with hamas and muslim terrorist groups, as a terrorist organization. The US has also provided aid to Sri Lanka to help fight the tamil tigers. We also provided close to 1 billion in aid for tsunami relief. I have no idea how those numbers add up to aid and donations from muslim countries. Interestingly enough, Israel also provided substantial aid for tsunami relief in Sri Lanka as well. Perhaps blaming America and Israel isn't always the most prudent courses of action. Then again, Israel isn't flying planes into our buildings either.
If the muslims would recognize that the Jews are in their God given land (Sorry, thats a fact you can't dispute), then Israel may not need all that weapon technology...
I'd have said the LTTE also, it's sad as it's such a beautiful country and Sri Lankans are really friendly people, both Tamils and Sinalese
That's an interesting view. Arthur Balfour said the Jews could have that land but you can't go around saying "Our God said we could have it so THERE!" and expect everyone else to say "Oh, ok, fair enough then."
you do realise that not all people believe in the same god/gods and whatever another religion's god sais is irrelevant to them? I mean, you wouldn't give a shit about what other people's god says, so why wouldn't the feeling be reciprocal?
I suppose you know God..... Anyone can write down in a book that God said this and God said that. Why isn't God saying anything now? Funny how God seems to have stopped talking now.....
