I have read various posts and opinions on the forums about U.S. based webmasters using GEO tracking software to block certain countries from viewing their sites because they fear a Google AdSense ban for poor traffic?! Does anyone have an opinion on this? What countries should be blocked? Are proxy sites the only ones to use country blocking on? Thanks!
I wouldn't want to point at any countries.. but mainly countries where english in not dominant... since most sites who are being advertised are in english.
There are some visitors from some countries that not really understand about the adsense advertising. they seldom click those ads and they come to your site to use your bandwidth. It hard to block them just let it go.
I don't think there is a need to block any countries. Try using adblogger, which will solve unnecessary clicks. Brian
I wouldn't want to block any countries at all. If ads are being shown in a particular country its because the advertisers have selected to have them shown there.
