    westathome.com
    workingsolutions.com

    virtual assistant type of jobs
    teamdoubleclick.com
    virtualtemps.com

    for writing and getting paid

ehow.com(usa only)-(do keyword research for mom and give the high adsense keywords for her to write a "how to article") the revenue share with ehow is the adsense. Don't go for cutesy topics.
    well thought out articles.

demandstudios.com -owned by the same people at ehow. pays you every friday without fail. allows her to put her talent to work.

http://www.TheNicheBlogger.com - gives her a step by step canvas. very good for a beginner.

ebay affiliate program. Get Marks "Free Ebay Wordpress Plugin" at www.45n5.com she can go on youtube and he's there also. he loves step by step stuff.very very generous man and very patient.

    get mom started...

Personally I wouldn't go near ebay when trying to sell things! It is scammer central, I recently tried selling a kayak, I got 12 bids, only 2 were genuine and they were the lowest ones! Scammers put in ridiculous bids, then no genuine bidders will pay as much as is needed to beat the scammers bid, therefore you waste your money!

The best thing your mum could do is set up a blog type website where she shares her knowledge of experiences etc from her offline job. If she got a large enough audience she could do very well!

A couple of ideas: online tutor or even online English teacher, quite a few TEFL companies are looking for people to teach their students using online facilities (chat, webcam) etc.

She could be a moderator for a chat/forum for a top she is interested in. Not all forums pay, but I saw one recently for work at home moms and the forum was paying $100 a month for a moderator (part time and pretty easy work).

Obviously article writer and virtual assistant have already been discussed.

Depending on how ethical your mom is, she could "help" students with their term papers. Quite lucrative this option, although you do tend to get a lot of people abusing the idea (basically turning in the work provided and claiming it is their own).

    Resume re-writer?

Check the CraigsList job boards for your area. Loads of editing/writing/education/admin jobs around the boards. All the best!

    LOL'ed!

on a serious note if she has a lot of experience with office administration. A blog about it will be the best for her. And a lot of people seem to be going into that field from what I see at college.

If she can write some good content articles than a blog will be doing great. As long as it doesnt look like an ad ready blog.

I would recommend proofreading/translating. I'm not sure what languages she knows, but this is a good opportunity to earn some extra and working on a laptop or computer.
In our company, we're always looking for experienced freelancers, with special expertise. Education and law is very attractive qualities/experiences within translation and proofreading, especially when it comes to legal documents translation and proof.

Anyways, good luck, it shouldn't be difficult for her to get some online income.
    :)

I think your mom should do copywriting jobs at freelance sites. One can make some really good money at freelance sites via doing copywriting work.

His mother may be a professor but that doesn't mean she can handle copywriting as a job...

You see, it's just like making a SWOT analysis of a company...

Ask your mother about her strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and then make an analysis based on that.

Search the web and find the job that will best suit her capabilities.
