I am trying to increase my website traffic from last 1 month. For that I am posting links to free directories, posting free advertise, writing on blogs, advertising on social websites like facebook, twitter, submitting link to search engines and so on. But the fact is on an average I am getting 15 hits on daily basis!!! I thought it might be increase but unfortunately traffic is not increasing. What could be the solution? Please share anyone. It all depends on how aggressively you are promoting your website on available sources also don't try to overdo else you won't get good results. Keep patience and try to give some SEO boost to your website.
Its going to take time, your building from the ground up and need a strong foundation. Don't expect a mansion when you've only put in the time and effort for a house. I'd say the more interaction you have the better, definitely respond to anyone who posts something on your site, make sure you do the work to not only bring new people in, but keep old visitors coming back.

But before you spend 1 cent research who you want to attract. find out what type pf people you are looking to attract and research ways to advertise to them directly I use e-zines which have good direct results but you need to find your target audience. also start building an e-mail list

All your procedures you describe above were really duplicate to what of my experience before. I have done hard seo on my blog but i could get around 20 UV everday. Fortunately what i get back from this hard work is gaining PR 3 with that Google update session

Like stated previously i would try to build a list or find a joint venture partner to advertise your site or list page in their emails. Also if you don't want to wait and are confident in your sites sales power enough, then you could try PPC, but you need to convert well to make a profit.
When I go fishing I want to know how deep the water is and how many fish are in it. Have you picked a niche that does have a lot of fish? How many searches are occurring? Are you in a hyper competitive niche? You don't give us any metric clues. You might have picked a loser. But, if indeed you have at least 500 global searches a day and not many competing pages then the problem may be in your content if your site has been properly indexed and on page seo has been taken care of.
