What constitutes high iTrader?

Hey, I'm just wondering what people count as low/medium/high iTrader. I've seen a lot of people who have tons, and some who have in the 30's, but I don't know what is the minimum I should trust easily.

A member with 100+ iTraders can be trusted easily but you should check member's reputation and quality of posts too ;)

    Thanks !

Yea any member that has over 100+ itrader transactions can be trusted for the most part, but still be extra careful. There have been some instances on this forum where reputable sellers gone haywire and actually scammed some folks. Just gotta watch out for those kind of people and be weary of transaction going through.

what the above posters say is true.
just because someone has a high iTrader don't make them
trustworthy, you still have to take the time and investigate
what they have done here at DP, past deals etc.

always check out a person before you deal with them.
there have been several high iTrader members who have gone
    over to the dark side.

You can't really tell much from their itrader sometimes. I've dealt with great people with little to no itrader. It's a matter of intuition and gut feeling sometimes.

Look at their posts and previous similar activity. [selling sites, contests or whatever you want to deal with them in].

    Yes.
there are some people who are really trustworthy, but people don't trust them, because they have an iTrader rating as lowas mine.

I'm pretty easy going and will trust a lot of people with small deals.

There was once an 11 page long thread where I gave a loan of $160 to a DP member with low itrades.....and eventually he paid me back!

Its nice to deal with the regular posters around here. You can often see who the scammers are as they arnt polite and only post in the BST.

Its nice having a lot of itraders too, although I'm nowhere near the top yet :D

For me, even if the person has 0 itraders but as long as he or she has a high rep, I'll be willing to trader with them without any second thougts. It's harder to fake reps than itraders.

Well, I am a down-to-earth honest guy, but seriously, I have a zero reputation here. I can't spend via Paypal, why am I even here?

If you look at it that way, nearly everyone is a stranger.

Check their iTrader and see if they've sold a bunch of stuff or just bought a lot. Check their other trades. If they've successfully sold things worth more than what you are buying, then you you should be okay. Also, if a member has a join date many years ago and have been somewhat active the entire time. They probably wouldn't want to risk that account.
I agree. I've been trying to contribute just to get to 2 blocks for a while. I don't believe people with 3+ blocks would ruin their rep.

    Check the time they've joined.

Even if there are just 2-3 successful old transactions, I consider that enough.

The type of deals for which they receive Itrader matters too.

    Because you have it ;)

My best and worst deals have been with guys having low itraders though.
