What colours to use?

    I have an adsense banner 728 x 90 at the top of my forum but I have a gradient on the back of the table and the ad in that but I am using black for the ad was away for a few days and used my cusins computer and the ad looks out of place on my own pc it looks good and suggestins on what colours to use? www.websiteforumz.com

    I think color is fine but position of GA is to high, i think nobody see it.
    Replace it with position of "fire" banner and i think you will have better results.

    Ouch, the orange squares just hit and hurt my eyes right away plus the light blue in yer google adds are hard to read, change it to dark blue. Good Luck.

    Change it to the colour you used in header and all the bars, dark green/blueish. If I were you, I would remove the header, place the first728x60 there instead. You should also arrange a top margin of 10 px. It would also look good if the top logo was enlarged slightly.

    I suggest putting the Ads in a "Box" such as the box in which the other content is (class tcat: "Sponsored links" and class adv1: the ads themselves)

    If the design around the ads is significantly different from the other content, people will unconsciously ignore the ads.
    We are all trained to ignore the ads so you need to defeat that training by making it difficult for the brain to see that something is an ad at first glance.
