What color works best for you on a white background? Does something soft or something stark like hot pink work better? I'm having ok success with hot pink, but thought there might be some secret color I'm missing out on.

Which color works best is subjective. But for me, I always blend the ads color based on the color scheme of my site.

I had a color based on my site scheme but i changed it to blue links #0000FF, only the background remained the same color. Blue links works better.

On a white background, Blue,Green and different shades of those colors work well. Make sure you put the same color for the

tags the same as the title of the ads.

I also used this strategy before and the CTR dropped slowly during the last year. It no longer works.

The links have to be observed but the mean time blended into the page.

So a great strategy is keeping the same background color as the rest of the page, the same color for the ad texts similar to other texts in your page but the link has to "catch" the eye :) Default blue works perfect.

    Hello...

Agreed i always thought the idea is to blend the ads into your site so they dont just jump out at you and look like crap...
