Hi, Just need your opinions here. Just want to know if what color scheme do you think is the most effective to attract clicks or buys? This would be fro the color of "buy now" or "order now" button. Thanks.

In my opinion, it's not the color scheme that really matters with the exception of it being an odd and annoying color scheme. I think it is the ad itself and the highlights that distinguish it from the rest. I had success with simple ads with a clear message or product highlight. Definitely choose attractive colors but also keep in mind the ad itself or product page has to give the buyer a feeling "They Need" the product and "Why They Need It"
I believe it's the clever mix of both answers given above. If you can blend the proven psychology methods with a clear message, people will be more likely to move with the flow of the website.
It really depends on your audience. If it is tech-savvy you can bet they learned to ignore schemes whether they are based on color, position or certain imagery. So that would be the first thing to check, I think. I for one ignore most ads subconsciously before they would have been able to fight for my attention. So either you go with something that doesn't look too much like an ad (which can be shady at times so be careful) or be subtle with it. By the way, the color psychology is to be taken with a careful eye, back when I was a university student I took part in a lot of studies to earn some money and let's just say young scientists aren't always the most reliable people. (Of course that shopify link goes in another direction is therefore of great value, I think.)
It depends on your audience, but it also depends on the statement you want to make. Blue for a background is a calming color, and brighter colors are used to get people's attention.
Oh, so many different informations. I think that testing colors could be really useful. Go with something appealing to you and see the reaction of your audience. Ask for reviews and you will know if you need to change it.
Blue instills trust. However, like what the other DP members mentioned, it's the sales pitch that matters. If you can convince them with your message, i think even a text link to buy the product will do.
