What color says 'Professional' to you?

I'm doing a bit of research to find what color shows you that a company is professional the most?

I'll go with black. It seems more formal as well as professional.

 

Green! I don't know why, but green is good.

 

I voted Blue, but black too, i guess. It really depends for what. You don't want black walls.

its not just one color that says 'Professional' , its all about the color combinations used on the logo/web page/print/etc

I think blue.... most websites that have webhosting, or selling any services. Have the color blue.

 

i voted blue. IBM, Microsoft, Dell all those guys use blue. It's pretty popular with the big corporate types.

I think black looks more professional than most colours. I think grey is quite professional but it isn't there

i voted blue as a general color but i would have to say color combos are the way to depends on what kind of mood a website wishes to instill in the visitor.

The brighter colors instill better moods in people, happy people buy more.
