    its not just one color that says 'Professional' , its all about the color combinations used on the logo/web page/print/etc

    I think black looks more professional than most colours. I think grey is quite professional but it isn't there :)

    i voted blue as a general color but i would have to say color combos are the way to depends on what kind of mood a website wishes to instill in the visitor.

    like the person above dell uses black and how good are they doing these days?

    The brighter colors instill better moods in people, happy people buy more.
