What CMS?

I am going to create a resource site for pet owners containing various articles about each type of pet. I don't want to use WP or anything that looks like a blog. What CMS should I use?

 

WP is just the backend. With css you can make it look any way you want it to.

 

I suggest - DRUPAL

 

Try Geeklog. It's has got simple looks, yet supports great features like calendar, blogs, images galleries, etc.

Joomla! It is free to download and use and has wide supporting community or PostNuke which is both a weblog and a content management system.

 

I'd probably either go with PostNuke, Drupal, or Joomla.

 

Try ModX.
Quite an easy to use CMS which also has ajax and seo-support built into it without the need to install plugins.

 

Their are many cms out there you should see which one suits your needs and which you are more comfortable using.
