Hi, I would like to add a subsite to my main site where my visitors can post their complaints about this organization. Anyone has a solution for this? Maybe a customized wp? What do you think? Thanks
A full blown CMS seems like over kill for this. There are a lot of free php comment/feedback scripts out there that could do it.
I would just add a support forum. V-Bulletin is a good choice and if you need blog capabilities, the new version has it.
As for DLE, I would use modified comments module with it's redirection to site's subdomain in .htaccess No need for big coding of complaints script, I agree.
Personally, I wouldn't add a comments module to the site and invite everyone to complain. I would keep it separate as in my suggestion of a forum. No reason to show "complain here" all over your site.
Yes well my site is a national news site. I would like to add a subsite for my news readers to express their dissatisfaction / recommendation for practically anything.
I understand. So why not just add a forum on a subdomain to address such issues or have a feedback button? Do you want the complaints to be posted on the site or just delivered to you?
If it's for a professional organization it needs to be very secure so I would go with some professionally developed software like vBulletin as someone else suggested. This would be fine and have good security.
Hi there, You can just install a feedback script so that customer complaints can directly reach your mailbox. Or as hmansfield suggested installing a forum is also a good choice. Regards Yas Wavesquare,India
