Im wondering what classes as a Google backlink. For example one of my sites has 4 links when you do the link:www.mydomain.com but in google webmaster tools the pages with external links shows 45. Am i to assume the first instance is what google classes as Quality Links or am i missing something?
Well the one in question is nearly 3 years old, it was in Google from the start but it was a project i started at University and left it neglected, didnt touch it again untill i started work on it 3 months ago, link building etc.
