What channel to enter for DP revenue sharing

    I'm trying to set up my adsense revenue sharing for this forum, what url should i enter in the channel to track clicks from dp. Just http://forums.digitalpoint.com/ or how?

    My adsense id also starts with ca-pub instead of pub, should i enter ca-pub or pub ?

    and you only need the number plus pub like this Pub-XXXXXXXXXXX

    get you channel id from your adsense control panel. You may create a new channel, generate some code and see the channel id in js code you get. Thats only for tracking purpose, not a must.

    I cannot find any channelID in my account.
    I made a channel for forums.digitalpoint.com, but there is no ID. :confused:

    As for the Channel ID, is it the "numeric" value, or the "Alpha" value that should be entered?

    i think easiest way is to use url channel; just enter http://forums.digitalpoint.com making a custom channel wih this name wont work unless you add url id here in your profile using CP

    Yes, and your pub-id will only be displayed 50% of the time anyway. Don't count on making a whole lot :) And definatly don't create a bunch of spam topics lol.

    Personally I use one of the charity site pub-id's -- a few cents isn't gonna do me any good.

    For sure, I wouldn't spam the forums as I enjoy learning and helping people here. I never bothered with revenue sharing before, although I thought I would see what happens. That's a great idea regarding the charities!

    ya, that's indeed a very nice gesture. I myself was earning USD $1-2 every month and felt the better thing will be to use the charity pub ID instead of mine. Here is the ID for it pub-3177973392753855 and the channel is 6154807267

    Please confirm it though :p

    I created a custom channel and used my pub-xx id and the channel id from the custom channel. hope it works :)
