Where do you find all your categorys you use on your directorys do you check others sites, or dmoz or where do you get them ?
I think you answered your own question... Best place is to use similiar directories as role models and develop your own unique structure. Use overture keyword tool and figure what categories are worthwhile if you're setting up a niche directory.
im not setting up a niche LL i have one LL that using phpLD and now starting another... with another script so i cant use the sql file to import the categorys... Thats why i was wondering where the people get theres categorys.. i have added the ones i think will be most used... and i manually added them by copy them from my other LL.. But would be fun to know where others gets theres categorys from
