Car radio/casette player which I have is decent. Blaupunkt. But buying, recoding tapes is realy boring job with unhappy sound ending. I even throw my deck years ago. What to buy? Mp3 or simply CD? Pioneer is here best buy.. I do not plan to buy charger, just radio/cd.
blaupunkt was allready built in. I am ready to spend up to 200eur. I have decent speakers built in. Even tweeters. So that sound just telling "give me cd, give me cd"
cassete player? Here you don't find cassetes at music stores any more, only cds. I am a fan of Sony.. their xplod models rock
I have a crappy Bose system in my car now. The CD changer skips when it's cold. My old car had a Kenwood MP728. I think I paid about $220 for it. It was great, never had any problems, never skipped and it has some pretty cool features.
I found tapes in some photo equipment store. I recorded one and gived up. Sound like cd recorded in sauna. btw, It got sense: people know to record tape are more common. It is from 2003 model i think. Blaupunkt Boston C 31 in usa, here Dresden c31..
My wife has an Xplode and it sucks. The volume buttons are so small. I prefer volume knobs or dials over buttons.
My cousin's stero got stolen from his car so he just uses his ipod to plug directly into his speaker system. He actually likes it better and it sounds pretty good. You could do that and that way you could listen to your music when you ride your bike through the snow. I started reading this thread about recording on tapes and I thought this was a really old thread. What type of music do you like to listen to?
Heh, this is something! I like big buttons too. Since here we have manual transmission, and I live in downtown, bigger buttons could be helpfull. Just like lighter with no problems to start fire. heh Hodgedup, I like your idea. LOL i selling on one site ipods and itrips and never tought could buy for myself. I listen a lot From Richard Strauss Also sprach Zarathustra, over Elvis Suspicious Minds and Dead Kennedys California Uber Alles to Steve Bug and Madonna`s Hang Up (best is remix by Jacques Lu Cont). But I most prefer classical music and Click House: jan jelinek aka farben, steve bug.. Like electroclash.. PM for more and posting mp3s
What happened to the hot chick? Kenwood/Pioneer in my experience have always been good decks..Kenwood my fav. ---edit instead of bump lol, hodgedup....just wondering if he got yelled at
