It would cost less and be safer to hire an actual PERSON to drive you around in your car for you, than to buy a smart car.

    I want! I want!

Where do you live, by the way...? And does that car have any anti-theft devices... (just curious :p )

Might have known Shawn would have been the first to reply to this thread :p

I bought a Rover MG 3 months before they went bust. I would have been able to get something better but I've got a wife now

Boring old me drives a saab 2.3 turbo. I love Saabs, and the thing does fly along as its is a full turbo. I am old now so speed doesn't come into the equation, although I am reliable informed it will piss 130mph. Past cars include 911T , Mini cooper S (used to rally this one in the days when you drove homw from wok, bolted a sump guard on, changed the 10" wheels for 12" as it was offroad, and competed) . Beetle, RS2000 custom (2 of these on a V & W reg) RS3100 Capri, capri 3.0 s (I only bought this as I couldn't believe a car could handle so badly. I was wrong) Jenson Interceptor (bought it cheap, had it for a few months tarted it up, and shipped it on at a profit) Loads of Saab's 900 turbo's, 9000 turbo's 9-3 & 9-5. Oh had a dolomite sprint, and an Alpha 2.0 gtv6 as well.

But my first car was a vauxhall Viva (this is not the one, but it is identical, colour model roof etc) I wouldn't normally admit to this though and will deny it ever happened if questioned.

Currently looking to change though, possibly just after Christmas. I have fallen in love with the Lexus :)

Put a down payment on a Subaru Impreza 2.5 (better fuel economy than the WRX :p) back in June to replace the Forrester whose lease was about to expire.

Then 2 months ago I suddenly got a job in lower Manhattan, moved to the city, and now I don't need/have a car at all. I feel kind of neutered because I LOVE driving, but living the way I do now, and especially with the expense it would be these days, a vehicle is something I really don't need right now.

I hope to hit 155mph sometime soon. There aren't many places to go fast around here.

I'm sure it does ;). I was just saying that maybe that could be your argument in court...

Speaking of tickets, I just got a ticket doing 80 in my boyfriends beat ass old Nissan Pathfinder. AND I got it less them 24 hours of us joking around about how ironic it would be if he got a ticket in the Pathfinder, since he just bought a BMW X5 that is way too fast but he still drives the Pathfinder sometimes (transporting our dirty dogs, camping in Mexico, etc). Any how, even funnier, is that the motorcycle cop that pulled me over looked like he just stepped out of Reno 911 AND he signed my ticket "D. Sanchez". Perhaps I have a twisted sense of humor, but it was almost worth the $150 just to get a ticket from "Dirty Sanchez"...

So, Mike, should be do online traffic school together :p ?

That's hilarious. The only way you could top that is if you got a ticket from Officer Donkey Punch.
