Hey Guys, I just got a 17 page ebook written for me in the dating niche that I am currently using as a bait to get people to opt into my list. My Question is what else can I do with this ebook? I want to use it to drive some traffic to my website and hopefully the odd sale through the 1 affiliate link in it. Is there somewhere you can publish this kind of thing that may see it well distributed? Has anyone got any tips that could apply to my situation? Any advice is welcomed with open arms and I'm sure this will help a lot of marketers.
i would put it under a content locker like cpa laed and make some money off of it. its free for users to fill out so technically it would still be free plus you could make some bank
You can use it as the object of exchange for an opt-in page, where people give you their name & email address in exchange for the content. With their permission, you can continue to email them about offers and updates that you have.
There are many ways you can use it, Timby. For a start, whenever you post on forums, you can promote your free ebook in your signature by including a link to your website. (Obviously you need to check the terms & conds to make sure this is allowed. As long as your posts are constructive and the ebook is relevant to the content, you should be fine.) You can also promote it via Twitter and Facebook. Think about starting a Facebook Fanpage and offering your ebook to people who sign up. Obviously in all of these instances, you would steer people to your website, where you can capture their email details via an opt-in form. As part of the delivery process of the free ebook, you could also direct them to a 'One Time Offer' of a paid product (either one you've created, or an affiliate product). Not everyone will buy, but a certain percentage might as long as it's a compelling offer and you present them with a good deal. Or perhaps you can present the free ebook as a taster of a larger product. Many marketers will offer the first chapter of a larger ebook as a free download (or the first video of a series), in order to build credibility and demonstrate the value of their paid product to potential buyers. Always treat your freebies as a brilliant opportunity to build your reputation (and perhaps as a tool to pre-sell your other products/services.) Even if you don't currently have anything else to sell, you can plant seeds in the minds of your audience and get them in the mood for wanting to buy from you in the future.
You can use facebook, in my point of view it will give you better response than other services, but go with a plane and never got frustrated at any situation, surely you will get good response from there.
I would add some free CPA offers and make some money with them! Make sure you share your free e-book on facebook, various forums etc.
I agree with you, facebook is really a great place to share information about you or your intention of selling ebook. You may get better deal there.
