Hello, We see on newspapers news and news but we don't see what is behind the all things. The politics are very controversate and people are suffering because of that. I live in Romania and during 15-20 years many political goverments have come and ruled here..and since the revolution has been made our country is permanently ruled by people who are doing nothing and day by day are giving taxes for people and nothing for us... Our country is a country where all the political games are made by the BIG "Sharks" and they are not interested anymore by the future of this country.. And this thing are happening since 1989.. What can we do..we the people of Romania, how can we stand in front of this political crises..
In my opinion Democracy is the best.. Peoples should have voice against Political leaders....I never knew the the Romanians are suffering such a Political Problem
Honestly, a few million of us should buy up land in some country, and secede. Basically, do America again, without the politicians and the structure of empire. Re: Romania, the best thing you can do in almost all circumstances (unfortunately) is keep your head down, work hard, don't talk too much, and try to turn your cash money into hard assets (coins preferably).
People especially the old peoples don't have money to buy pills for their health. Don't have enough money for their homes supplies. The money that they receive in a month is about 150$ and less money, depending where they have worked..Who could live with such money... I could continue more, with the things that are going on here in Romania, sincerely I don't know where to start. The State doesn't make any investments for future projects like development the learning, health ( the hospitals are looking like in 1970 ) and others....
we do have a democracy, the problem is that like in most other democracies the people don't really have the power. Ellections are generally just beauty contests. The biggest problem in Romania is the corruption. We're easily the most corrupt country in the EU. How can a country work properly when everyone in a leadership position just fight for themselfs and their interests?! What we need is new "clean" people in leadership positions. We're never going to go forward as long as we don't get rid of corruption. Oh, and we need the 3-4 million people who work outside the country back, otherwise we're soon going to face severe workforce shortages @guerilla you can work as hard as you want if theft is institutionalised on a national level by our leaders. I think we've kept our heads down long enough and allowed those fuckers to do whatever they wanted without facing any consequences. I think it's time to show them we're not going to take this shit any more.
Well, now you sound like a revolutionary my brother. Just don't be confused that more democracy is your answer. You need a nation of laws. Aggressive laws against governmental and corporate corruption.
I'd be all for that. Another option is, to return where one may have immigrated from. I'd much rather send back the hateful rejects who don't realize how good they have it, and bring in those that spend a great deal of their time trying to immigrate here legally, because they know "our" (ahem) country is the greatest. I mean, don't you just hate bitchy whiny ungrateful people who always bash their "own" country, guerilla?
anyone who doesn't have blond hair and blue eyes should just get the hell outta this country. if you don't trust a big national government, just go back to where you came from.. -- this is starting to look like 1929 in more ways than one huh?!
More Ron Paul quotes? Sure sounds like it He has a terrible obsession and hatred with Jews, Blacks and homophobes.
That sounds good but the secession part is not going to happen without a fight. To make it happen you'll need Davey Crockett, John Wayne, and Jim Bowie. I think the last time an American tried it was Jonestown in Guyana.
well, I've been pretty pissed off lately and I do think we need a revolution (as in a change in the way we do stuff around here), preferably a peaceful one We already have laws against corruption, but if those who are supposed to enforce them are corrupt too (and they are) then those laws are is if they didn't existed. That's why I'm a supporter of a direct democracy system...in a country where the leaders can get away with anything they want a direct democracy is the only way for the people to make their voices heard LOL. Anyway, can you please stay out of this thread if you don't have anything to say related to the issues we're discussing here? Thanks
But there are a democratic elections, what can be done is to be more actively involved in the political parties that showed promise and looks clean. Not much else you can do except go through the process. Not every country has a People's Power revolution as in the Philippines but even them are a bit tired of that.
Yeah, I don't endorse violence. Passive resistance like Gandhi or MLK, that's fine. I think the best way to change the system is to quietly build up resources, and then change it from within. I truly believe a Constitutional Republic is a beautiful thing, but there are some key issues with how the US Constitution was worded, and the way that it allocates power, and leaves a blanket "if it's not authorized, it belongs to the states and people". I think it would have been better to more clearly define what is federal, and how the 3 branches cannot abdicate their responsibilities to other branches.
I see that everybody here has opinions and opinions, I share though those of "Iul"..he is from Romania and he knows what is going on here. And the rest please don't start a migration problem, what we are talking about here is happening in all countries but, there the Rules and rules, and everyone obey them, I mean that even USA stands in front of big and major problems like of economics and others but that doesn't mean people are forgotten by the State and politics... We are passing hard times here, it doesn't matter that we are in UE, because more or less BIG INTERESTS are now made by those who are controlling from behind Romania...
