Here is some reading for you. The constitution is 'vague' ideas, it does not specifically state 'god can not be in the government' it is however pretty easy to see what the intent here was. Yet again the god terms were not originally in the government, they were added the the pledge and coins.

And yet you just had a new law passed in California deleting all references to mother and father from public schools text books. Of course this law just happened and it had nothing to do with the homosexuals as they only do it behind closed doors.

You can believe that atheism is nothing, and yet atheism has an agenda which you may not fully engage in but seem to completely symphatyse with. Which again proves atheism is NOT just nothing.

Atheists aren't all bad people that want to bash religion. They just don't believe in deities and most are quite skeptical, but very logical people. What would happen if atheists had the power?

I don't think it'll be too different. As long as the one in power is open to all voice and am willing to work for the better of the society, what's the difference between a Buddhist or a Catholic or a Christian or any other religion and atheists? Are you saying that an atheist will act differently from a Buddhist or a Catholic infront of a starving child? Just a question to think about...

Not all morals are written on a "holy" book. Rational human beings should be able to distinguish what's right and what's wrong. Being an atheist doesn't mean the first decision you make is the make the society anti-religion, even if that individual may not believe in deities.
