What can I tell Google with Sitemap?

    If I add/modify some sections of one particular web page, should I also modify the lastmod and changefreq of that page URL in the Sitemap file? Will Google take a note of that change and crawl the same web page again for any possible changes?

    If we use a Sitemap generator plugin for Wordpress blogs, does it automatically update the lastmod time in sitemap xml file if we modify any post in the blog?

    ya its automatic update just submit your sitemap at google

    and whtever you do its track by google

    sure ! Google can note that. if you update your sitemaps, Google will re-crawl the site and note your change.

    Yes, Google will take your new sitemap but will few days to update
