I was planning to develop a site with the basic purpose of being an Amazon associate, driving traffic to amazon & getting the commission but later when i really started working on this project in detail i figured out that Amazon ads are nothing more than those AdSense ads and i can't make something like an Online Store for them. It won't be a very smart idea of starting a web site who's sole purpose is to 'redirect' its visitors, when they have a better option to simply browse through Amazon.com itself for better deals. Do you guys have any ideas? what kind of online service shall i provide besides displaying those amazon ads on my site, who's targeted users may also be interested in buying stuff from Amazon? for e.g. a dog naming service visitors who simply want to name their dogs ( jenny's dog naming service ) won't be interested in buying something from Amazon, as they don't really need it. Back to my question, what do you suggest i shall sell online, a product, a service?
there's a lot of money in information products, yes. if you're getting a lot of people from a particular sector of amazon (say books about dogs), you could make / outsource an ebook about dogs and try to push it. or just find affiliate programs for the particular sectors you get traffic in.
you are better off selecting a topic of interest for yourself. Build a website around that interest, try to build a community for that site. Then try to monetize it and sell stuff.

Join an affiliate program that has some dog products. There are lots of affiliate programs out there like: CJ, Affiliate Window, TradeDoubler etc... you'll be able to chose ads that are focussed for your content. Good luck,
I am really loosing all those ideas now .. If i develop something like a LAN chat software & try to sell for a very low price as compared to other similar softwares in the market, how many purchases can i get & within how much time? I am just asking for an estimation as most peoples here know better about internet purchases than me. I would have done such a thing right away without thinking so much if there was'nt any investment, but a domain, a hosting account & then all that development time would be a lot for a total Zero response product..
Check if the companies offering similar services have a good affiliate program, you can also make money from them
