What can I learn from this forum?

    Hi everybody.

    I have been teaching myself web design and in the process of doing SEO and marketing research, this forum has come up time and time again. So I have been here countless times. I ended up here again tonight and since I'm on a research marathon, I thougt I'd stick around a little longer and take a more purposeful look at DP. So I registered.

    When contemplating what I would say in introducing myself, I came up with a simple question that I would like to ask. I'll get to that in a minute.

    I am a member of many webmaster forums and, as you are all aware, when you are trying to change your life from being a worker bee to making your own way, time is of the essence, and we all know there is never enough time. You have to research, you have to create content, you have to create your website, you have to optimize it and then you have to promote it. That takes alot of time! So, as beneficial as it is to read a forum, it cuts into the aspect of your effort that produces revenue.

    The question I want to ask might provide a "quick reference" for those of us who are overwhelmed by all the other work we have to do. The question is this:

    Which are the "absolutely must read" threads on this board for the budding Internet entrepreneur?

    Doesn't matter whether it covers Google, SEO, SEM, marketing, etc. I'll expand it by asking: What is your personal favorite thread(s) and how has you benefitted from information you learned here at DP?
