I want to start my own company and offer internet marketing services, but I don't want my boss to know this. I can work without registering a company but I would like to register it and pay all the taxes because various financial institutions could see that I'm getting money frommmm...somewhere! What should I do? Thanks!
Are you trying to set up in competition to the company you are working for? How is your boss going to know if you dont tell him? Dont know where you are but if in the states you could start up as a home base business.
Unless there is a clause in your contract that says you cannot start another business while working for him, I don't see any reason to be afraid. I don't think he'll be mad that you started selling your services elsewhere, as long as you keep working for him at the same level you have been.
the information you have given is far to flimsy to give you any proper answer. As it stands all I can say is that as long as it does not affect your work then its none of his business what you do in your own time.
You better quit the current job if you don't like it, and start your own company, in the way you want. But. its not a good idea to put yourself on two boats, both will be unsuccessful. Just my suggestion.
There is no way to keep it completely secret from anyone who is looking. For anti-fraud reasons you need to correctly fill out your articles of incorporation and have a registered agent to contact you through. You've been very vague so I will have to assume your boss either has psychic powers or he spies on you. There is no way to hide it from him if that is the case. My advice is just don't tell him, its none of his business. Plus, unless he is a psychic or is spying on you won't be able to find out.
you could start your own company and work on the same time (and don't tell your boss).. so you will have some money guaranteed if the company won't be profitable at first. if there's any problem you can use your wife... or if you're not married your parents
