What can I do with open source? Please read I need help.

    Well. I found about twenty 3D mutliplayer games. There all open source. Since its open source am I aloud to start my own server? As long as I don't charge?

    Yeah you are not allowed to charge for open source products but your are free to distribute use etc... under the GPL. Your best bet is read the license file that came with games it will give you the most accurate information :D
