I have accumulated a number of domains over a period of time. Some of them are from sites that no longer exist and some were purchased for launching new businesses(self and family etc.) that never got started. So, what can I do to make some money from the domains I have ? 1) Sell them for a profit ? ( I tried Godaddy Auctions but not much interest, any alternatives ? ) 2) Domain Parking ? (Again tried parking at Godaddy, looks like income won't even cover the domain's yearly cost, it' been a while though... Any alternative places to park ?) 3)Put some affiliate links on them? ( Can i do this without building a website? What would be some good affiliate options if i could ? ) 4) Build some quick mini sites/blogs and put some ads/affiliates on them? Anything else I could do with them? What would be the most profitable thing to do with the domains?
The best thing to do would be to build them out. a little age plus some content can easily put you in the $50- 100 range. Domain names are a hard sell unless you have something truly awesome, Build those babies out!a
I started using Bodis recently for a couple of domains. It's too early for me to recommend, but it's free, signup is simple, you can earn for clicks and the domains are offered for sale.
The domains are not keyword rich or anything like that, they're just names (combination of words etc. with or without meaning that just look a bit stylish) i came up with to use as a business name etc.
Build, sell or expire.. List them here and you might get some interested buyers. List them here and you might get some ideas for sites.
If the domain is a generic/keyword domain sell it or develop a web site in a way which can generate money. If both are not possible just let the domain to drop. Domain parking is outdated and not recommended nowadays.
