What can I do to improve my CTR?

Hello,

I have adsense on my website and would like to know how to improve my CTR, I have some questions that I hope you can help me with.

-How many and where to place my adsense?
-Should I put images on the left, right, on top or below my adsense?
-What adsense format gives the most CTR?
-Is it good to have "adsense bacground"? (somekind of a image)
-If you have white background on your website does it give the most CTR? (white adsense on white webpage)

Please share your thoughts on how do improve the CTR

You can greatly increase your CTR if you place images next to the ads and make sure they are in the page fold of the website. Make sure to put a border / divider between images and the ad.

 

How many and where to place my adsense?
Depends on your website's traffic. I'm using 2 ads on one page. Ads near to your primary content works better.

Should I put images on the left, right, on top or below my adsense?
Depends on your ads format. For large rectangle, images on the left, with a clear border.

What adsense format gives the most CTR?
Large Rectangle

Example please? I think it's good though.

Take a look at my site www.videoaday.net you will see the images next to the ads and that you do not have to scroll down far to see the ads.

 

everybody wrote somethink and one more think : search the forum . you can more and more tips about increasing your ctr
