this will basicaly be a good idea. but I cant really help if you dont disclose the country. if you are targeting a local area then you should include the keyword+the geocraphical keyword.

The domain name doesn't play as big a part as it used to. Obviously it will help if you use, for example, CapeTownBikeShop.co.za but there are other areas search engines use to localize domains, such as the IP address of the hosting, the content of the pages, the contact details for the owner and to some extent the source of links coming into the site, say from local newpaper articles on their websites. And, as Helleborine says, google map/local listings are a good idea too, especially if locals with local IP addresses write reviews for you.
