What can be done with a "Forum SQL Database"?

    Hello.

    I'm just wondering, What can a forum SQL database be used for. Am I able to implement the posts/members etc in the database to my forum?

    I just see people selling these quite a lot and I don't understand why people buy them.

    It is just a cheap way to make a forum look like it has more use than it actually does.

    a forum database contains data such as members, topics and posts
    basically everything is saved in the database.
