What can be copyrighted?

    I was wondering what all can be copyrighted and what cannot be?If i have some unique idea :), can it be copyrighted?If yes, how.

    i agree to prev post idea cant be copyrighted by their implementation can be like you have a idea to make design look gd so you can copyright the design not idea

    The actual implementation plan is copyrighted.

    The processes involved can be patented.

    The brand associated can be trademarked.

    ...but so long as it is in your head... IT'S FAIR GAME for everyone else to beat you to it! :mrgreen:

    Keep in mind that what you can copyright and what you can defend in a copyright lawsuit may be very different things. I heard of someone who managed to get a patten through for the wheel (or maybe it was the wheelbarrow). He obtained a patten, but I don't think he would have had much luck suing for royalties.
