I'm curious about everyone's experience. Can just one good, targeted PR6 backlink alter SERPs very much (for keywords with not too much competition).
Truthfully, probably not a lot. There isn't a straightforward correlation between inbound PR and SERPs - it's more complicated than that. An inbound link with high PR, related content and a good anchor might help a little bit.
IT will give you a PR5. My experience is that it really does not help with placement, but does not hurt. Content is what will help you there.
Contrary to popular belief here at DP, a high PR link will immediately affect SERPs if the site has related content. I purchased a PR6 link and within two weeks I had increased a keyword's SERPs from top 300 to top 30. My website is about a year old, but I've only been working the SEO for about 2 months.
how much it will help? thats depand, there is a lot of factors.. (competition, keyword..), but one thing is sure if its a relevant pr6 link it will help..
i think it largely depends on the content of your site. if its garbage and not relevant to the keyword phrase then it doesn't matter. part of it also depends on how many and what PR links your competition has.
It depends on a lot of different factors, but nearly every time a good relevant PR6 will give you a boost in the SERPs.
It will definitly help you on the bais of pr for sure as well as for serp (not that much big difference although) . Regards. Ashwini
Depends on the keyword and your competitor's sites. One link may not give such a profound effect. There are other factors involved too
