what can 400000 visitors generate

I have a total of 400000+ unique visitors every month.

what ad revenue do you thing is appropriate for that count..

 

It depends our your type of site, for example if your site is a niche then I might suggest
AuctionAds, for something like a blog or a site with alot of articles I suggest Adsense, also depending on your pageviews you might want to considering a CPM program like canepmedia which does CPM, YPN might be a good option for you as well if the majority of your traffic is coming from America and depending on your sites subject.

Keep in mind that you can't simple determine what a site should be earning based on the number of monthly visitors, you could have 1 million visitors per month and earn only $100 a month with adsense or any other affiliate if your traffic is of poor quality such as proxy traffic, or if your ad placement and targetting isn't good.

i think it depends on the quality of the traffic too..if u got many bots or proxies traffic..it cudnt be much useful

 

You could earn a million dollars or you could earn $0. It depends on what you advertise infront of that traffic and how targetted they are.

Depend your niche and traffic, if they are teens or childen is really hard that they buy something, maybe you could put adsense, because affiliate programs I saw hard...

With clickbooth.com and there cpm you can earn up to 8$ per 1000 unique users. Even if you earn like 1$ per 1000 uu that would/could be around 400$ a month.

 

Huh? If you based your estimate on jackburton2006's post, I sense that he was joking. In my opinion, with over 13,000 uniques per day, you could be earning up to mid-$XX on a daily basis with Adsense alone even if your website targets a low-paying industry. Clearly, he/she should be generating a lot more with the right affiliate programs.

 

400000 * 3% conversion equals a good a mount of change

 

Depends entirely upon niche and quality of traffic.

 

start testing ad placements and types of ads.

join commission junction or clickbank and put some banners in front of them.

if your running a recipe site put ads for frying pans in front of them via auction ads

there are so many ways of making revenue from 400k visitors.

popunders with offers from blockbuster or god knows what

just try everything

Can it be improved. Will CPM ads help in certain ways to increase the ad revenue.
