I'm sort of a jack of all but master of none I want to start a business but not sure what to do. I'm not a people person so I would rather work on my own There doesn't seem to be enough time in the day so I can't work for a long time I want to sell my own products (well not really MY products e.g. selling TE credits, dropshipping, etc.) but I am not the greatest at marketing so I can't find buyers I'm impatient and want fast results So what should I do? Selling TE Credits (I have a massive inventory at the moment) Dropshipping Writing Youtube Web Design
I think you need to pick one and lazer focus on it. Master it, then move on to the next project. I test everything. I usually throw a bunch of shit at the wall until something sticks, then I run with that. Basically, you should define what your motive is. If you're looking for something with fast results and higher payout (but also higher risk of failing) I'd go with drop shipping. But if you enjoy writing or making videos, you can always make a service around that.. so what is your motive? Make $$$$ or just be happy with whatever you're doing? I think you need a delicate balance of both.. personally, I'd pick something you're naturally good at and enjoy.
If you are planning to start something for a long-term - you have become professional in it. In case you are just looking for something not to go deep into it - you can try writing, or selling TE Credits
I think you need to learn people skills and patience. You'll need both if you expect success. Get rich quick is pretty much a pipe dream that lures most people to disaster.
Excellent point JoeSpirit. I was about tell this. Skills are not obtained in one day. If you want something to workout than you have to stick to it. You might fell but from your own mistakes you will learn that how the job is actually done.
First off, learn to be patient because any business, whether online or offline, requires work and effort. It won't generate a huge income overnight. For instance, even if you go for dropshipping, you'll need to work on the promotion of your brand and product to get sales. If you already have traffic, that's great. You can redirect it to your store. So, yeah dropshipping can work for you. I would suggest AliExpress dropshipping with an automation software like WooDropship or AliDropship plugin to minimize the workload for you.
Any business takes some time. The best business is one where you have an interest in. That is where you will excel.
Yep, it has to be something you love. Times will be hard and if you don't enjoy it then it's easy to give in and just stop working on it. Writing is a very flooded market. What sort of products would you drop ship? Is there anything you already know lots about and have a passion for?
As some of the other members have stated, business does take time and there are no get rich quick schemes. To be frank, remember starting your own business is extremely difficult and over 90% of startups fail in the first year. Even though your statement says you are a jack of all trades, I would recommend picking the business that you enjoy working hard for, master it and eventually you will make money. Unless you're a genius and can come up with a million dollar idea that can pitch well with other investors, that is the only way to make quick cash.
TE credits are a waste of time. Focus on your writing and web design skills and make tutorials and promote those on your youtube.
