    Hello guys, so I thought I'll give you a couple tips and hopefully you guys will contribute to this thread too.

    1. The need to share with each other.
    2. Reputation.

    Hope we all as community builders find this thread usefull.

    3. Good Quality Content
    4. Actually the speed of forum loading, I don't spend any time in a slowly loading forum.
    5. Neither very strict nor flexible rules should be enforced.
    6. Providing as much services and tools as possible.
    7. Most importantly a community != forum, no well formed community should be sololy built on a forum software only.

    What I meant with "community != forum SOFTWARE" was :

    I don't believe I can make a community by setting a phpbb software and marketing it. The forum must have some elite users ready to share all what they knoe, and some leechers ofcourse :rolleyes: . A forum with noone signed up people but little # of posts and replies means there is no interactin with users and there is no actual community :D . :rolleyes:
