hi, i think Dell is in better prizing but all of their hardware (ie Ram, board) is from china, i mean only they have it, so if any of your pc hardware is not working then it wil be a problem because you wont get any parts here, you will have to buy from them officialy and that is expencive!, but you get a waranty for 1 year for free, other brands like IBM, HP, Sony and pakard Bell, there hardware is from here, so you can get any of the hardware from any shop, also these brands give more waranty than Dell. so whats my opinion ? well what kind of pc are you looking for? for gaming ? Thanks . good luck!
HP got quality + cool features + low prices Dell and IBM got reputation Apple got the looks(Some says it's for gays which I also agree) Compaq, Acer, Lenovo, Gateway and Toshiba are always expected that comes cheap Sony Vaio(I don't know about them ) Well that's what I think I always love HP
I think it depends what you want it for, some are going to be better for games, others for portability, etc. It often just comes down to personal choice.
Hehe, I'm working for HP so I will also recommend it Seriously, my business Laptop is more than 2 years old and working with no issues during this time.
For computers, just take a Dell, it is fast to order and comes with easy warranty and is one of the cheapest on the market, you can't go wrong with it (most of the time)
i think Dell and HP are both decent, you should always build your own its fun! check out the new dell desktop http://www.dailytech.com/Dell+Goes+Chic+With+Studio+Hybrid+PCs/article12519.htm
If you absolutely must buy a pre-built computer, HP is the way to go. Solid build quality, good prices, better than average customer support (way better than Dell's in my experience). HP also uses mostly off the shelf components, which means if you feel up to it, you can perform your own upgrades without needing to buy overpriced custom parts. My real suggestion is to build it yourself.
If you want an custom build PC, i can do it for you, where are abouts are you? custom built PC's are cheap, £200 . thanks
