You can use any one blog site with seo perspective. Blogger is user friendly for every one.You can able to post very easily and you have many widgets over here. And Wordpress is little bit difficult to understand , but you have many inbuilt widgets here . You will have many seo widgets to integrate with your blog.
Wordpress self-hosted (wordpress.org) is the best because the blog belongs to you so no one like blogger or wordpress.com can take it off the internet. Sometimes people have had their blogger account for 2 years and it's doing well then the owners of blogger just take it off without warning.
I think wordpress is as good as blogger when it comes to free blogs. If you have your own hosting then you have full control over it and it is better.
I think blogger is a better platform if you are new to blogging and yes according to SEO perspective Google loves Blogger and ranks it high in its page ranking.
blogspot is better-it is easy to use and gogle SE shows blogspot more often than wordpress as google does better indexing for blogspot.
If your blog is doing good in search engines with very good traffic then continue with blogger if not start on self hosted wordpress. There you will have total control over your blog.
start on self hosted wordpress, wordpress is easier, you can improve your site to get rank 1 google quickly
