What blog scripts allow adsence?

I installed wordpress recently and uploaded all of my files only to find out that with their free account they dont allow adsence or any type of advertising.

I probably should of looked into that and i know that is my fault

Recently I have been trying to find scripts that allow adsence, and I have found many many scripts and none of them say that they DON'T allow adsence...but I dont want ot install ito n my site to find out that they do not allow ads..

So I was just wondering if anybody here knows of a free blog script that defiantly allows for ads (adsence in paticular)

    Thanks guys

I'm confused. If you "installed Word Press, that would mean that you are using self hosted Word Press from Word Press.org. With that you can do what ever you want and install anything that the platform supports, which is just about everything.

If you are using free hosted Wordpress from Word Press.com, then no, you cannot use adsense.

If you are looking for a free hosted solution, Blogger is owned by Google and does allow you to place adsense on them.

My advice is to get a domain name and a $7/month hosting account from Godaddy or Hostgator and just create niche-specific subdomains for multiple Wordpress installs.

sorry, let me clear this up

I think the confustion is that i am talking about wordpress.org not wordpress.com

I have my own hosting, and I installed the free version of wordpress.org on my hosting (which I bought) but then realised I cannot put ads on it.

I want to start a blog but I want to be able to put ads on my blog, so I was wondering if you know of any free PHP scripts for blogs that allow ads, thanks again

You most certainly can put ads on your own wordpress blog. What problems are you having, or are you maybe reading the support pages for the wrong version of wordpress ?

Yes Word Press.org is free, or Open source, as well as support, thousands of plugins and themes. You should be able to place adsense without a problem.

The Wordpress app is totally free. It's Open Source.

And you don't need any plugins to show ads. Just create a text widget and paste your code into it.

I also recommend rounding your monetization out with ads from other networks, including context ads like Kontera.

Wordpress.org and Wordpress.com are two separate entities.

Wordpress.org - you can do whatever you want with it, on your own hosting. Even the addition of advertisements to your heart's content.
