What basis things I should know when hiring SEO service?

I am building a site for ecommerce.

I want it to be listed with search engines with the most of the keyword in the site, maybe top 100.

I see there are some services doing this, what basis things I should know?

+ Do I have to give them admin access
+ Will they modify the site?
+ What I have to do to cooperate with the SEO service? no need to do anything?
+ How to prevent scams about SEO services, I heard that I may get banned from the search engine if I violate the search TOS?

Have a backup of everything first

then hire an seo or link builder, you may or maynot give admin access ..for onsite optimization for might have to give access..then it depends on your site.

Yes they can modify your site for onsite optimization

Most SEO's are cooperative ..just ask for reports at regular intervals

See their portfolio ..check out their company ...if hiring from DP he must have good itrader

If a SEO company tells you they can guarantee you a certain search engine position in a certain amount of time RUN.

 

I will use service in my country i think, its considered the cheapest, but I dont know much about the security, and basis issues when hire a company to market online for me, it gonna be hard

 

Theres no point in trying to get listed in top 100 only, spend more money and time and get in the top 20, nobody looks through 10 pages of search results.

adwords is nothing to do with SEO. and $5 wont get you many visitors at all.

With my adwords advertised sites, its either profitable to send visitors to your site, or it isnt. I'm either sending as many visitors as google will give me, or none at all. You shouldn't be setting cash limits per day.

 

I agree with red, if they say they can guarantee a top placement, run a mile. Also check their existing clients and give them a call and look up their SERPS!

I contacted a local service, they say, they cant gurantee me any place, but they will maximize the posibility of my site, so the most keyword will work when people search, and they will manage links or something. they also require admin password, I think i will give them an account with limited access.

I am using bitrix enterprize for ecommerce site, giving admin password is too dangerous to my customers and for myself.

Another question, mainly about the fee, they charge so much, I dont really understand the SEO work, it's heavy coding, or heavy logic work or something? 6 months plan cost around 2000$

 

What exactly are they giving you for $2000? Try and be as specific as possible. SEO isn't "heavy coding", its something you could pick up easily with time to learn.

 

Well depends can you try a freelance site (reviews count) search for reviews if there have a website

And yea if they tell you We can guarante position x then they are scams ...
