What Baidu Doing?

    Baidu Visiting My Site Regularly these days. But it only index 4 links of my site.

    I found that it generating 40% page views daily, So i try to block it by htaccess.

    But when i put code in htacess file to block ip's of Baidu. Instead of stop, it attack

    my site with different ip's from 180 and 220.

    I always found that it only visit pages like, rss and comment form pages. I don't know

    its try to get mail id's from those pages or doing something else, spamming or harvesting.

    But it consuming bandwidth and generating false page views, so i want to know,

    is there any method to prevent it from visiting my site completely.

    baidu try to get some links and add them to their index. but my site rarely get traffic from them.

    its the no. one search engine in china, its biggest disadvantage is that it's only in chines language, so its very hard to work on it if one in no chines friendly. google google provide support in almost very language .

    I am not against baidu, Problem is it didn't index my site. When i try to block its ip, This spider imminently started to crawl my site with different large no. of Ips. So it wasting my bandwidth daily and giving me false page-view info too

    Baidu is the type of search engine in China. It is in Chinese language so may be you will find problems doing work on it. If you know Chinese language, easily you can work on it.

    i also use baidu , honestly it's not so effective like google . if baidu works very well then it is possible to beat google . baidu has a great source of user.
