what bad have i done to google?

My articles were initially ranking at first page of google, but all of them have been buried overnight. These are very quality articles which will solve the problem of the searcher. This is not fair. I am not happy about this. It has killed my morale to work harder. What should i do?

 

As you know new pages got a initial credit; then they have to compete with the rest as usual. I am guessing thats the case. Best thing you can do is increase traffic on those pages, they should rank back.

 

I am not saying that this is a good or badd thing, just an invitable thing. However, I thing in this case you have allowed the Google red mist.

 

This is not uncommon, especially if the articles are new.

 

The links on the social bookmarking sites have probably went down...

How about a link to the content you claim is of quality?

Perhaps your perception was off a little, and we can give you further advice on how to improve.

Google doesn't really go and read all these articles and rank them based on quality only. There is a reason why there is a field called SEO. You need to work on backlinks, get traffic etc
