For three weeks now I have been generating a little traffic to my website using Google ads. I have had about 300 visitors but not a single conversion on my site. I can see that users are booking items but not going through with the purchase. Is my site poorly designed? Not functional enough? My site address is: www.outinmalta.com I've targeted ads at very specific keyword phrases so I think the quality of visitors should be OK, but even if not, surely someone out of 300 or so visitors is bound to make a purchase? Also, the bounce rate is quite low; which is to say that people tend to potter around the site for ten minutes or so and view 8-9 pages before leaving. I really feel like I need some feedback.
Hi mate Nice looking site, My Opinion is that you should be using that site to gather leads and then go for the sale. Its an Instant gratification thing and chances are most people using the site are first timers and not sure what they are getting. Why Not make the order page a confirmation page. That way you can say, "we will confirm your order by phone" Then ring up and gather payment details or direct them to webcheckout. It adds a human touch to your business and first timers will be more likely to complete the transaction. At Least your gathering leads, then you can keep following up as well and building credibility with potential customers. Introduce a few coupons then harvest some referrals and away you go. Once your reputation is built the automatic payment system will take over. Hope that helps Oda
